About Amanda Dennis
Dr Amanda Dennis trained as Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Sydney and Glasgow, Scotland and practised for 6 years in Westmead Sydney before seeking a tree-change with her young family to Launceston Tasmania. Amanda practises as a Private and Public Obstetrician in Launceston with a special interest in Diabetic and high risk pregnancy.
Amanda has a wide ranging gynaecological practise including child and adolescent gynaecology, fertility investigation and treatment (with referral of IVF patients to the Centre of their Choice), family planning/sterilisation, menstrual and bleeding disorders and treatment of prolapse and bladder disorders.
Amanda provides Colposcopy services and is recognised as a teacher and examiner of by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians Gynaecologists.
The Australian Preterm Birth Prevention Alliance is working to safely lower the rate of early birth across Australia.
